Hey, my name is Maya Bartleson

Hey y'all! I am so excited you're here. I wanted to take a moment and tell you a little about me. I’m an extrovert at heart and love talking to just about anyone who will listen. I have seven little siblings, so don’t ever apologize for a fussing baby. I also have five animals that I proudly refer to as my babies, and I’ll probably bring them up at some point during our shoot. Growing up as a military brat, I’ve lived in over five states, but no matter where I’ve been, the Carolinas will always be my favorite place to call home.

Photography, to me, isn’t just about snapping a picture—it’s about freezing a moment in time that will never exist in the same way again. Every image holds a story, a feeling, a memory that deserves to be remembered long after the moment has passed. I believe the most powerful photographs aren’t built on perfect poses or trends, but on real emotions and genuine connections. My goal is to create images rooted in memories, not just aesthetics—photos that bring you back to how it *felt*, not just how it looked.
